How to use the CATNews RSS file

The topic of using an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) reader might sound a bit scary and complicated to people who aren't that technical. We will try and simplify it for you.

The first thing you want to do is download an RSS reader of your choosing. There are tons of them available for free and you could probably even find one for your toaster if you tried hard enough.

Below are a few examples of decent RSS readers.

Now that you have downloaded an RSS reader, you'll probably want to add an RSS feed to it (duh). The way to add a RSS feed varies greatly depending on what you're using but it should be relatively clear how to do it. There may also be included help sections in the app.

When you want to add CATNews as an RSS feed, point your client to https://catnews.cc/rss.xml. That should be it. Some clients may also ask you to input a name but most should autofill this.

New posts from CATNews should now pop up in the app's feed when they release. Of course, depending on the client, you may also be able to set up notifications etc.
